Delta Poly Rector Confers NIPOGA President, Says Next Game Will Be Eventful

The rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, prof. Emmanuel Achuenu has been conferred President of the Nigeria Polytechnic Games Association ( NIPOGA) vowed that the next game will be eventful.

The investiture ceremony took Thursday 20th, 2023, in Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku where the new president oversee, with it members across Nigeria in attendance.

Recall that the Nigeria Polytechnic Games Association was created to harmonize coexistence among Nigerians and also to discover, nurture sporting talents for National assignment.

Speaking in his welcome address, the rector, prof. Achuenu who was the Vice President of the Nigeria Polytechnic Games Association before his new position as President, noted that the turn up of members from the various polytechnics in Nigeria are a great sign of good things to come.

He disclosed that Delta state polytechnic Ogwashi-uku is to host the next NIPOGA and the investiture ceremony will prepare the executive for the event..

He maintained that the association has started on a good note, saying it shows that the event that is going to take place in Delta state polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku will be great.

In his acceptance speech as the new president, he vowed that the next game will be eventful

According to him, ” on behalf of myself and DSPG and those who supported DSPG for this event, I accept to be president of NIPOGA”

” And we promise you that the next game that is coming will be a very great one, it will be an eventful game and . We know the importance of NIPOGA”.

He added, ” once NIPOGA is called here and everybody gathered in this place, there are so many benefits that are accrued to DSPG”

“ It will attract business activities, infrastructural development and DSPG will be placed on the map of the world and in local”
