M,O.R.E BIZUP: Ajede Scores Governor Oborevwori High On Human Capital Development

Nov 29, 2024

The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede, has rated the administration of the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori highly for steadily and meticulously delivering on the M.O.R.E Agenda.

Barr Ajede gave this commendation today during his opening remarks at the M.O.R.E BizUp Orientation and Business Class organized for Ukwuani Local Government beneficiaries by the Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau in the Council Secretariat.

In his brief remarks, the Ukwuani Council Boss, who was represented by the Assistant Director of Administration, Comrade Okpor Elias, noted that Governor Sheriff has done creditably well in ensuring meaningful development across the state, providing opportunities for all Deltans, entrenching realistic reforms in all critical sectors in the state, and also strategically enhancing peace and security.

Barr Ajede further noted that Governor Sheriff’s passion for human capital development, that is, ensuring that the youths/women in the state are empowered, self-reliant, and business-minded was commendable.

The Ukwuani Council Boss also stated that empowerment programs of any sort are strategic because, according to him, empowering an individual can translate into empowering an entire community/society in the value chain.

“The truth is, when an individual is empowered, the family is empowered, and when a family is empowered, society is also empowered,” he said.

Meanwhile, Barr Ajede has charged the beneficiaries of the M.O.R.E BizUp in Ukwuani LGA to make the most of the opportunity by ensuring that they upscale their businesses with the knowledge and other items that will be provided for them.

“You must ensure that this policy of the government succeeds through you, and that means, you must be willing to maximize this opportunity as many other destinies are dependent on you,” he noted.
