The Honorable Commissioner,Bureau For Special Duties, Etacherure Ejiro Terry has commiserated with victims of a fire disaster at Ibadan Elume, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State. The fire incident, suspected to be caused by electricity, razed down a residential building of 4 flats and 2 shops, resulting in the loss of properties worth millions of naira.
The Commissioner who visited the place of the incident with the director State Emergency Management Board( SEMA) karo Ovemeso,described the incident as an unfortunate event and commiserated with the victims over the disaster which caused the loss of properties worth millions of naira.
“Although I’m grateful to God that this devastation incident did not claim the life of any one,as the life of one Deltan is very important to the Government of the state
This also is why we came as a complete team to access the level of destruction and damages as well as convey the sympathizing message of our principal, the Governor of Delta State.
The Oborevwori’s administration has never left anyone behind, it is a government that listens to cry of the people, because the M.O.R.E Agenda cuts across all parts of the State, your pain is duly noted and I sympathize with you all.”Etacherure stated.
Felix Anahayirie, the owner of the property, expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori and the team for the prompt response and show of concern to their plight.The Commissioner’s visit and message of sympathy demonstrate the state government’s commitment to supporting its citizens in times of need.
