The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ethiope Federal Constituency, on Friday during the inauguration of its newly Exco has sent strong signals to the major opposition party in the state, the All Progressives Congress, APC Delta, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Honorable Commissioner Bureau For Special Duties Etacherure Ejiro Terry emphasized that the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has already brought significant benefits, infrastructural development, and empowerment programs to the Delta State and noted that governor Oborevwori has not borrowed money from anywhere and will not borrow from any commercial bank or financial institution to fund any project in 2025 as he is a prudent manager of State resources.
He urged the people to rally behind the MORE administration, led by His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, who is tirelessly working to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people. He highlighted the Governor’s numerous achievements, including empowerment programs for youths and women, Improved healthcare services and support for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
The Bureau Commissioner advised against being misled by individuals with hidden agendas, who seek to exploit innocent citizens for personal gain, political mileage, or to destabilize the peaceful atmosphere in the various local governments.
The Ethiope Federal Constituency Forum EXCO was inaugurated by the State Chairman of PDP, High Chief Solomon Arenyeka through the Delta Central PDP Chairman, Chief Anthony Akpomiemie, Esq,.
The ceremony was well attended by prominent politicians, party faithfuls from the 22 Wards.
