The Director General revealed that a panel of enquiry was set up to ascertain the true position of the allegations contained in the said publication by Zik Gbemre
The DG said the findings show one Mr. Kingsley Oghwe who is a is pastor, violated traffic rules by driving without a seatbelt and causing traffic obstruction and his vehicle was impounded by DESTMA in warri.
The DG also said Mr. Zik Gbemre never contacted DESTMA for the true position of things before his hasty press release, but rather relied on the information of Mr. Kingsley Oghwe
He added that DESTMA believe his position was politically motivated and has been his pattern in time past to solicit for cheap publication from the government and DESTMA as an Agency will not be pressurized nor blackmailed.
