The Commissioner for Oil and Gas and Former Member, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon.(Chief) Peter Uviejitobor has disclosed that the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has created an enabling environment for investors to maximize production to boast the economy of the state.
The honourable commissioner, flanked by the Ministry Permanent Secretary, Mr. Frank Omoko said the Oborevwori administration is committed to peace building and security as a topmost priority for all investors.
He said; ” the ministry of Oil and Gas has met with various stakeholders across the state because the major position of the state government led by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is to ensure there is peace for all investors to maximize production”
Adding separately, the permanent secretary, Delta state ministry of Oil and Gas, Mr. Frank Omoko said the state government has put in place an enabling environment for investors that interested in citing a modular refinery to come up with their approved license from the federal government and the location they ought to site modular refinery.
Mr. Omoko explained the processes it entails in setting up a modular refinery,: ” we will look at the site location based on the approval to ascertain the true position of the company if they are really coming to build”
” This administration does not place with security and peace”.
