The Delta State House of Assembly on Wednesday barreded journalists from covering Governor Sheriff Oborevwori State address.
The Journalists who arrived in the State House of Assembly as at 9:30 were denied entry into the Assembly complex after tendering their various IDs of their medium.
The security officer who was in changed of the gate, ASP Saviour David maintained that journalists will not be allowed while preference was given to non Journalists. The journalists include, punch, Guardian, Tribune, Thisday, Champion, Emerald online and among others.
The ASP said the order of banning journalists was given by Authory. ” If you like call anybody, nobody will answer you,
When contacted the CPS to the Governor and the CPS to the speaker, effort to reach both of them failed their numbers were not reachable.
