Former Delta State Governor and APC Delta North Senatorial Candidate, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, has pledged his continued support and collaboration with the Progressive Anioma Youth Association (PAYA) in advancing the development of Anioma land.

Okowa made the commitment while receiving the National Executive Committee and Local Government Area Coordinators of PAYA, led by its National Coordinator, Chief Mayor Enujeko, during a courtesy visit to his residence in Asaba.
In his response, Senator Okowa commended PAYA’s leadership for its efforts in mobilizing and uniting Anioma youths towards constructive participation in the political process. He particularly praised Chief Enujeko for his vision, dedication, and commitment to youth development and unity in Anioma.
The Former Governor assured the association of his readiness to work closely with the group as its Grand Patron and promised that PAYA would receive due recognition and support before, during, and after the elections.
Speaking earlier, the Progressive Anioma Youth Association (PAYA) National Coordinator and Director General of Signature Nigeria, Chief Mayor Enujeko congratulated Senator Okowa, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Delta North Senatorial District.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to Senator Okowa in Asaba, the National Coordinator of PAYA and the Director General of Signature Nigeria, Chief Mayor Enujeko, described the former governor’s victory at the party’s primary election as well-deserved success in the forthcoming general election.
Enujeko reaffirmed the association’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the growth and progress of Anioma and supporting Okowa’s senatorial ambition.
He also presented PAYA’s expectations ahead of the 2027 general elections, emphasizing youth inclusion, regular engagement, recognition of members’ contributions, empowerment opportunities, and sustainable development across the senatorial district.
Enujeko emphasized that PAYA’s partnership with the former governor is built on accountability, inclusiveness, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to the development of Delta North Senatorial District. He expressed confidence that the group’s expectations would receive due consideration.
