She shot my dad, she shot my dad, Jesus, Natalie shot my dad, Natalie is mean, Natalie killed my dad… Tyler roared
Jesus Christ… that was all Rita could say, she covered her face with palm and fell on the couch weeping silently
What do we do? She asked raising her head up
Tyler stared at her and shook his head “My dad” he murmured
Natalie is heartless…. She said breathing out
Natalie killed my dad! My dad! No,no,no…. Tyler screamed
Tyler calm down,we will sort this out, Natalie won’t go scot free… Said Rita holding Tyler
My dad is gone!!! He screamed again
Tyler please calm down,we will travel to the village… Rita told him
Tyler raised his head,tears fell freely from his eyes as he kept staring at Rita
He hissed and shook his head
Tyler… Rita called
Tyler turned and looked at her
I think I’m in a labour, my waist is on fire… She cried
Your waist is on fire? You’re in labour? How can you be in labour when my father is lying lifeless in the village… Tyler yelled
Tyler I’m serious, I’ve been in labour since yesterday night… she said
Take yourself to the hospital,I’m going to the village right away…he replied
Rita could sense the anger and heartbreak in his voice, she packed her things and left for the hospital
Tyler drove down to the village,he got to his family house nobody was there
He dialed Natalie’s number
Fool… Natalie spoke
Coward… Tyler retorted
You’re a coward Tyler, Tyler you’re a coward… she shouted
I’m not a coward Natalie,I am in my parents house come over…He said
Natalie smiled and ended the call, she drove straight to Tyler’s parents house
Tyler??? She called looking around
Coward… Tyler said laughing as he hugged her from behind
You’re a coward man, you didn’t come back with your desperate wife? She asked laughing
She was in labour when I left, she should sort herself out…He replied kissing her passionately
Her parents should be happy right now… Said Natalie
Her mum called her the other day ranting that she snatched someone’s husband… Tyler mocked
Husband snatcher? But she wanted her daughter to get married by all means huh,our plan really worked out… Natalie jubilated
How’s my baby girl doing? Asked Tyler placing his ear on Natalie’s stomach
Tyler’s phone rang he didn’t hesitate to pick the call
Tyler you can’t just call your wife, called to let you know that I just birthed a baby boy… She said and ended the call
Congratulations to her… Natalie commented
Tyler smiled
Our papers are ready…. Natalie told him
Wow so we will be leaving this country soon…he replied smiling
Yes darling,I’ll be putting to bed soon… She said as Tyler picked up his ringing phone
Tyler what did I ever do to you? Rita cried
You know what brought me back to the village right? Tyler asked
At least check up on your wife and son… She said still crying
I’m sorry baby,I’ll be back soon..he replied
Rita heard Natalie’s voice saying “That girl is really a fool, desperado” she ended the call immediately
She heard you Natalie… Tyler said
Her business not mine… she smirked
Tyler shrugged his shoulders and went inside,he entered the master’s bedroom and sat on the bed
He dialed Rita’s number
What is going on Tyler? Asked Rita
Nothing is going on baby, Natalie is threatening me…He lied
Threatening you?
Yes, she still want me to marry her…he replied
Can you please come back Tyler,we are alone and you know I’m not strong enough to take care of myself and your child… She said
Babe calm down I’ll be coming back soon,I’ll send someone to come over and help you with the chores…he responded as the door opened
He ended the call immediately
We need to leave here now… Said Natalie
I want to see my parents first…he said
Erm, Tyler…. that will be later… she starmmered
Did you really kill my dad? That wasn’t part of the plan
