….commends Oborevwori for support

The Director General, Delta State Traffic Management Authority, , Hon. Benjamin Okiemute has assured motorist in the state that the agency will soon be ranked with the Lagos State traffic Management Authority going by the reforms and innovations through the State Governor MORE AGENDA for better, and safe drive roads.
The DG revealed this in Asaba while scoring the state Governor high over his infrastructural, and human capital development in the state.
The DG, said, the state since inception has not undergone such massive infrastructural development and credits should be accorded to Governor Oborevwori
According to him; “before my inception as DG DESMA, as an ordinary man like any other ordinary man, I have given to the Governor of Delta state over 95 percent performance”
“Because, I, personally, come to discover that we haven’t gotten to this very position we are in development of the state”.
He noted that, “Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, had laid a foundation and which has translated to what you are seeing today as MORE AGENDA.
“Every layman has seen Delta State could develop without borrowing a dime, I give it to the Governor, congratulations”
“I also believe within the level of the 36 states in the country, when they learnt or heard that the Delta Governor had not borrowed one kobo and he is doing what he is doing, so, the MORE AGENDA is really working in the state”
He maintained that there are testaments from people within the short period he has assumed office, saying “DG since your inception we see the new face of DESMA” and that spurs him to put more effort in what he does
“I believe DESMA as an organ who is in charge of the day to day running of the roads in Delta state and probably oversees the federal roads that cut across the state in a way of giving assistant to road safety, we have fully ready to do what we can to assist the MORE AGENDA of Oborevwori”
“And I believe by the time Governor finishes, or I leave office with the assistant that he has been giving to us, we are going to rank with LASMA to do more things that the inhabitants and the road users have to feel a sense of belonging”
“We will stand by the State Governor with our innovations, ideas and on the to day to day advises on what is happenings in Delta state so that the MORE AGENDA particularly Delta state roads should be sustained”
Meanwhile, the Delta State Traffic Management Authority, DESTMA, has made it mandatory for all motorcycle riders and users to use a crash helmet while on bike to help save lives during any accident.
He said, DESTMA aimed at enforcing a disciplined driving culture.
