The Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) has announced the resolution of lingering misunderstandings among members of its National Executive Council, pledging to remain united and focused on the interests of Ndokwa Nation.
In a press statement dated September 28, 2026, the union said the resolution followed the intervention of the NNU Elders Council and other stakeholders on September 27.
The statement, signed by the President General, Comrade Chief Amechi Asugwuni, and the Secretary General, Den. Jimoh Egwali, Esq., said the executive council had resolved to work together in unity and maintain the status quo in the leadership of the union.
The NNU leadership expressed appreciation to the people of Ndokwa for their understanding and patience while the issues were being addressed.
It urged the public to disregard negative publications, comments and reactions on social media concerning the matter, stressing that the union remained committed to unity and collective progress.
The leadership further reaffirmed its commitment to working together in the best interest of Ndokwa Nation and to ensuring that the union remained focused on its responsibilities.
The NNU called on its members and the general public to focus on the renewed unity within the leadership, declaring: “We remain one people, one family and one united NNU. Together, we are stronger.”
